Towers Infinite
A Sudoku-like logic puzzle with a new dimension.
Returning Not on the App Store right now. It is being rebuilt for current iPhone and iPad, starting from its 2020 redesign.
What it is
Sudoku-like with a new dimension.
- Each row and column holds every height exactly once, as in Sudoku.
- The grid is a block of buildings. The numbers around the edge say how many buildings you can see from that side.
- Taller buildings hide shorter ones. Work out the height of every building.
The 2020 redesign
Towers Infinite first came out in 2009. In 2020 it was rewritten from scratch with a new design (version 3), shown here. That is the current design.
- An LCD-style header shows your progress, the grid size and a timer.
- Rounded number keys, with a row underneath for pencil notes.
- The number you pick is highlighted wherever it appears in the grid.
- Pause at any time.
Nine levels, 2×2 to 7×7
The three smallest grids have one level each: Baby (2×2), Rookie (3×3) and Beginner (4×4). Each larger size has two: Easy and Normal (5×5), Medium and Hard (6×6), Expert and Master (7×7).
Easy, Medium and Expert (marked 🔢 in the menu) start with some numbers already filled in. Normal, Hard and Master leave the whole grid to you.
Screenshots come from the 2020 version. The returning version will be checked against them before it ships. The original 2009 look is kept on the original site.
